Desert stay & Berber culture: 2-day trip to Ksar Ghilane｜Tunisia

Djerba is the starting point of your adventure. A first coffee stop in Chahbania will get you in the mood. You will then cross the vast, shimmering white expanse of Chott El Jerid Salt Lake, a surreal landscape.
You will then arrive in Tataouine, the gateway to the desert.
You will then leave Tataouine to visit Guermessa, a Berber village. This spectacular site features semi-cave dwellings and offers
breathtaking views of the surrounding desert valleys.
After a traditional lunch, you will continue to the oasis of Ksar Ghilane, where golden dunes, a palm grove and a natural hot spring provide a breathtaking setting. The day ends with a sunset over the dunes, a Berber dinner around the campfire, and a night in a bivouac under the stars.
Day 2:
After breakfast, you will discover Matmata and its cave dwellings, followed by the Berber village of Toujane and its panoramas. You will then enjoy a typical lunch and a coffee or tea break before returning to Djerba with many souvenirs and unforgettable landscapes.
