After exploring Battambang’s French colonial architecture, enjoy the famous bamboo train (norry)—a fun ride through rice fields and banana plantations. Lunch is around 2:00 PM at a local restaurant (about 3–5 USD per person; vegetarian options available if requested).

In the afternoon, ride up Phnom Sampov in a pickup truck and explore Wat Sampov, then visit the killing caves with a careful historical explanation.
