Start your day with a visit to the Mistico Hanging Bridges. Embark on a 2-hour hike through the beautiful rainforest and keep your eyes peeled for animals such as monkeys, toucans, wild turkeys, sloths, and a wide variety of birds.

Continue to the breathtaking Rio Fortuna Waterfall. Hike downhill to the bottom of the 60-meter-high waterfall where you can enjoy a delicious Costa Rican lunch and a break before continuing your adventure.

Next, continue on a hike through secondary forest trails to the Arenal Volcano 1968 Lava Flow Trails. Take in the awesome views of the volcano and lake and learn about Arenal’s activity, history, flora, and fauna.
