Discover the highlights of the Arenal region in one memorable day combining nature, adventure, local culture, and relaxation.

Your experience begins at La Fortuna Waterfall, where you’ll follow a scenic rainforest trail to the spectacular 70-meter waterfall. Enjoy time for photographs, rainforest views, and, when conditions permit, a refreshing swim in the natural pool. Approximately 1.5–2 hours.

Next, explore the landscapes surrounding Arenal Volcano on a guided hike through tropical forest and historic lava fields. Your certified bilingual naturalist guide will share insights into Arenal’s volcanic history, geology, wildlife, and ecosystems. Approximately 2 hours.

After your morning of adventure, enjoy a traditional Costa Rican lunch at a local restaurant, experiencing authentic flavors and local hospitality. Approximately 1 hour.

End your day with approximately 2 hours at an Arenal geothermal hot-spring facility, relaxing in naturally heated pools surrounded by tropical vegetation. The specific hot-spring facility may vary depending on availability and operating conditions.
