Sail the Rio Peñas Blancas on a quiet River Rafting Safari｜Costa Rica

Starting in La Fortuna Town, we drive for 25 minutes to La Perla, where we put in from the shore of Rio Peñas Blancas. After putting on a flotation device and getting into the boat, you will immerse yourself in a rainforest river ecosystem while watching a variety of arboreal and aquatic animals.

Float for approximately 2 hours in a raft, watching gigantic kapoks, figs, rubber trees, and shoreline trees that host many animal species, such as sloths, monkeys, bats, lizards, birds, iguanas, caimans, crocodiles, and more. Our expert guides will help us to spot some of these animals as we float down the river.
