ATUEL CANYON｜Argentina

The tour begins in the city of San Rafael (SEE OPTION FROM MENDOZA), heading south along the Cuesta de los Terneros, the town and village of El Nihuil. Fifty-six kilometers of paved road await us, following the tireless descent of the waters through the Atuel Canyon. Whimsical figures such as The Wax Museum, The Hanging Gardens, The Monks, The Owl and others invite you to stop and experience the landscape. In addition to learning about the reservoirs and their power plants, after a winding slope we discover the vastness of the Valle Grande Reservoir, the gateway to the ideal place for adventure activities and water sports, such as catamaran sailing, rafting, zip lines and Tibetan bridges. We finish at a farm where you can learn about the process of dehydrating fruit and making artisan wines.
