Product Info

From the Alpataco base, we take the coastal Rambla and cross quiet neighborhoods where the houses overlook the sea: salt, breeze, and the hum of model airplanes greet our departure.
The Patagonian Plateau in its natural state:
Leaving the paved road, the gravel trails wind their way through alpatacos, coirones, and piquillines.
Paraná Beach & the Folias shipwreck:
Time for a snack break by the sea. A few meters away rests the fishing boat Folias, which ran aground in 1980: its semi-submerged hull emerges at low tide and offers unique postcard views.
If it's whale season and we're lucky, we'll probably see some from the shore while cormorants and petrels fly overhead.
Cliffs on the way to Punta Este:
We'll cycle alongside sandstone walls and descend to Punta Este, the beach chosen by Madryn locals to contemplate the vastness of Golfo Nuevo. Camera in hand, the sunset paints reddish tones on the water.
Living dunes
We get off the bikes and walk on a coastal dune, a habitat for salt grass and a refuge for shorebirds. Feeling the warm sand under your feet is part of the Patagonian ritual.
Drop-off between sky and sea:
We return to Puerto Madryn along the main road, knowing that we have cycled between two worlds: urban comfort and untamed nature.
