Product Info

Begin your journey in Bishkek and travel through the scenic landscapes of the Chuy Valley toward the historic Burana Tower. Dating back to the 11th century, this ancient minaret is one of the most important monuments of the Silk Road era and the last remaining structure of the medieval city of Balasagun. Explore the archaeological site, discover ancient stone carvings, and enjoy panoramic views from the tower while learning about the rich history of Central Asia.

Continue toward the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake, passing through beautiful valleys and traditional villages surrounded by the magnificent Tian Shan Mountains. Along the way, experience one of Kyrgyzstan's most fascinating cultural traditions during a traditional eagle hunting demonstration. Meet a local eagle hunter and learn about the centuries-old relationship between nomads and their magnificent birds of prey.

Next, visit Skazka Canyon, also known as Fairy Tale Canyon. Famous for its colorful red, orange, and golden sandstone formations, the canyon has been shaped by wind and water over millions of years. Its dramatic landscapes resemble castles, towers, animals, and mythical creatures, creating one of the most unique natural attractions in Kyrgyzstan. Enjoy a walk through the canyon and capture unforgettable photographs of this remarkable geological wonder.

In the evening, arrive in the Bokonbaevo area, where you will spend the night in a traditional Kyrgyz yurt near the shores of Issyk-Kul Lake. For generations, yurts have served as portable homes for nomadic families across Central Asia. Staying in a yurt offers a unique opportunity to experience authentic nomadic culture while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the countryside. Relax beneath a sky filled with stars, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and experience the warm hospitality for which Kyrgyzstan is famous.

After breakfast on the second day, continue your journey to the beautiful Barskoon Gorge, one of the most scenic mountain valleys in the Issyk-Kul region. Surrounded by forests, alpine meadows, and towering mountain peaks, the gorge is renowned for its pristine natural beauty.

Take a scenic walk to the famous Barskoon Waterfall, where crystal-clear water cascades down rocky cliffs amidst spectacular mountain scenery. The area offers excellent opportunities for photography and provides a refreshing escape into nature. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of the Tian Shan Mountains and learn about the local history and legends associated with this beautiful region.
