Choose Your Route – Two Options Available
Route A – Cliff Leap Experience (Leisure)
Beginner-friendly. Gentle traverses, scenic overhangs, 1 suspension bridge. Climbing time: 1.5–2 hrs. Ages 12–60. Recommended arrival at ticket office before 13:00.

Route B – Big Wall Via Ferrata (Advanced)
The viral social media route. Steep ladders, exposed ridges, multiple long suspension bridges. Climbing time: 3–4 hrs. Ages 16–55. Recommended departure from downtown before 10:00.

Itinerary (Example: Route B – Big Wall, 10:00 departure)
Time Activity
09:30–10:00 Hotel pickup in Zhangjiajie downtown. Depart for Qixing Mountain.
10:30 Arrive at Qixing Mountain ticket office. Online concierge assists with ticket redemption.
10:30–10:50 Cable car ascent (20 min) + shuttle bus to the core area.
10:50–11:10 Brief scenic stop — skywalk platform and panoramic viewpoints.
11:15 Arrive at Via Ferrata starting point. Gear fitting (helmet, harness, lanyards).
11:15–11:35 Mandatory 20-min ground training — clipping/unclipping techniques with certified coaches.
11:35 Start the Big Wall Via Ferrata!
11:35–15:00 Full climbing experience (3–4 hours, with short rest breaks).
15:00 Finish the climb. Rest at summit platform. Lunch break.
15:00–15:30 Free time for summit photos.
15:30–16:00 Cable car descent.
16:00–16:15 Shuttle bus back to the exit.
16:15 Return transfer to Zhangjiajie downtown.
17:45 Approx. hotel drop-off.
For Route A (Cliff Leap), the climbing portion is 1.5–2 hours. The rest of the itinerary is the same, with return approx. 1.5 hours earlier.
