09:35-10:35 Arrive at Blue Spring. This is the source of New Zealand's largest supply of pure water. The spring water is filtered through underground volcanic rock for 50 to 100 years, making it crystal clear; it serves as the source for 70% of New Zealand's bottled water. Stroll along the 1.9km trail where underwater vegetation is clearly visible. The water temperature remains at 11°C year-round, and the visibility reaches up to 80 meters, displaying a charming blue-purple hue. It is considered sacred water by the local Maori tribes.
