What is the Tongyeong Sunset Healing Tour?
This is a short evening tour built entirely around one thing: catching the sunset over the islands off Tongyeong, on the southern coast of Gyeongsangnam-do. The operator spent six months working through every corner of the city before settling on three stops, and the route is timed backwards from the sun rather than forwards from a departure clock, so it runs roughly two to two and a half hours. It opens inland, in a hinoki cypress forest below Miraesa, then moves out to the water for a coastal drive and finishes at a viewpoint chosen for the light. The pace is deliberately unhurried, with music through the drive and time to simply stand and watch rather than tick off sights. A guide accompanies the whole route in Korean or English.
What can I see on the Tongyeong Sunset Healing Tour?
The first stop is the hinoki cypress forest at Miraesa, where a densely wooded trail carries the resinous scent of the trees and the rustle of the canopy — the part of the tour meant for slowing down rather than looking at anything in particular. From there the route joins the Cheokpo Coastal Road, an open drive along Tongyeong's shoreline with the sea on one side, taken as the light starts to warm and the coast shifts through reds. The last stretch is Dara Park and a secret sunset spot the guide keeps off the usual map, looking west over the sun as it drops between the islands scattered across the water. It is the photograph the tour is designed around. Should the sky cloud over and the sunset not appear, the route swaps Dara Park for the Bicycle Road and Seopirang course instead, so the evening still ends on the water.

2. The tour may be canceled in case of rain. If the tour is canceled due to weather, you will receive a full refund.
3. The tour will not operate if only 2 guests are booked. We will confirm the number of participants 7 days before the tour and contact you regarding whether the tour will proceed.
4. If the weather is cloudy and the sunset is not visible, the itinerary will be changed from Dara Park to the Bicycle Road & Seopirang course.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 7 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 3 to 6 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–2 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
