Hutt Lagoon Pink Lake Flight From Kalbarri｜Australia

Depart Kalbarri Airport on this spectacular 45-minute scenic flight showcasing the dramatic coastline of Kalbarri and the striking colours of the Pink Lake (Hutt Lagoon) near Port Gregory.

Begin by flying over Kalbarri township, gliding low along the beachfront before climbing to cliff-top height to reveal the region’s iconic coastal cliffs, where vibrant red sedimentary rock meets the deep blue of the Indian Ocean.

Continue past the popular surf break at Red Bluff and through Rainbow Valley, where mineral-rich sandstone often creates shimmering rainbow effects in the sea mist.

Next, soar over a series of connecting coastal inlet gorges, including the remarkable Natural Bridge, before passing the white sands of Lucky Bay and arriving at the brilliant Pink Lake. Covering approximately 70 square kilometres, the lake’s vivid pink hues are created by naturally occurring Dunaliella salina algae and are best appreciated from the air.

After circling the lake, return to Kalbarri via an aerial route over the rugged Kalbarri National Park, completing a breathtaking coastal and inland circuit.
