Experience a sky lantern event that will illuminate the night sky with soft light, held at Hiroshima Gate Park on Saturday, October 10, 2026.

The 'Sky Lantern Project with Japan Material Koshien' is held in conjunction with 'Japan Material Koshien,' an event showcasing the appeal of ingredients and regional resources from across Japan. Participants can release lanterns inscribed with their wishes and dreams, creating a magical scene to enjoy with family, friends, and partners.

The lanterns are safe, LED-powered, and tethered with strings, avoiding the use of fire. The launch is scheduled for 19:00. While entry and viewing are free, this ticket is required to participate in the lantern launch.

This ticket is exchangeable for one lantern. Each lantern allows entry to the launch area for up to four people.
Admission and viewing are free, but tickets are required to launch the lanterns.
Please present your KKday QR code at the reception desk to exchange it for your lantern. Please bring your smartphone fully charged.
The lanterns are LED-powered and do not use fire. Do not cut the strings; please launch and retrieve them according to the staff's instructions.
The lantern launch is scheduled for 19:00. If you are late, you may not be able to participate in the experience.
Minors and children must be accompanied by a guardian, and please keep a close eye on them while inside the venue.
The event may be changed or canceled due to weather, strong winds, or other safety reasons. Please check the official website for the latest information.
To alleviate congestion, please use public transportation whenever possible.
Cancellations or changes due to customer reasons after purchase are not permitted.
In the event of severe weather such as strong winds, heavy rain, or thunderstorms, the event may be unavoidably canceled.
