  • For Japanese people, onigiri (rice balls) are more than just food. In this experience, set in a traditional Japanese house cafe, you will learn about the story of rice and the meaning behind "itadakimasu" (a Japanese phrase said before eating), while enjoying Japanese food culture with all your senses. First, you will make chopstick rests with origami and be introduced to unique Japanese dining etiquette. Afterwards, you will make your own onigiri and enjoy them with miso soup and pickles. Because it is a small group setting, it is a special experience where you can enjoy conversations about Japanese life and culture in a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy the warm hospitality of Japan that you cannot encounter just by sightseeing.
