Impormasyon ng produkto

  • This luxurious private experience plan allows you to fully enjoy traditional Japanese crafts at Matsui Honwa Candle Workshop, a long-established company founded in 1907. First, you'll start with a "painting experience" where you can freely paint your favorite designs on two traditional Japanese candles (approximately 10cm each) using acrylic paints. A female craftswoman who is a Japanese candle maker, painter, and wick winder will provide careful support, so even beginners and children can enjoy it with peace of mind. Instructions for the painting experience (in English and Japanese) are provided. The finished works will be placed in an elegant box along with a special handmade iron candle holder, which you can choose from round, square, or cherry blossom shapes, and you can take them home on the same day. (This course is called the Candle Story® Course.) After painting, you will take a "tour of the manufacturing site" of Japanese candles, a traditional craft that is very rare in Japan. You can experience firsthand the skills of craftsmen who use 100% domestically produced wax from the Japanese wax tree and complete all processes by hand. The process you can see varies from day to day, so each visit offers a new discovery. After the tour, you can choose a Japanese candle as a souvenir. (Up to 20,000 yen. If it exceeds 2,000 yen, please pay the difference.) We offer a special experience where you can enjoy the charm of traditional crafts with all your senses, combining "painting, workshop tour, and souvenir selection." *You can take photos of the artisans and workshop. You can also film yourself on video. Filming of artisans and workshops is for reporting purposes only. *The order of the experience may vary. *The tour takes 15 minutes, and the painting experience and souvenir selection take 1 hour. The total time is approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
