— What You Can Expect —
Thai Food 101 Adventure isn't a cooking class. It's part scavenger hunt, part crash course, part eating the way Bangkok actually eats.

It starts with a mission at Khlong Toei market, Bangkok's biggest fresh market, you get a list of ingredients to track down, and a guide who knows exactly which vendor has sold the best fish sauce for thirty years.

Then it's onto the tuk-tuk, weaving through side streets on a snack hunt that turns the city itself into your first course — the same yummy street bites that make Thai people crave home.

Halfway through, a quiet garden stop: for something cold and unexpectedly refreshing, a breather between market noise and kitchen heat.

Then at the stove, it clicks. A hands-on session where you make a real Thai drink and cook real Thai dish from what you just bought, guided step-by-step by our instructor. You choose the thematic menu that ranges from all around Thailand.

Then you sit to enjoy as shared table, with the people you cooked alongside. One meal, made together.

Before you go, time for snackpacking: you fill your bag with unique Thai snacks in our canteen, the kind that bring Thailand back the moment you're home.

You start the day a tourist. You leave knowing Thai food — how it's made, why it's made that way, and how to make it yourself.

You're not just browsing Khlong Toei Market — you've got a mission. Your guide hands you a short list of ingredients to hunt down among the fish, herb, and produce stalls that supply half of Bangkok's restaurants. Part scavenger hunt, part crash course in what actually goes into Thai cooking, led by someone who knows which vendor to trust.

Hop in a tuk-tuk and let Bangkok come to you. Between the market and the kitchen, you'll wind through backstreets on a snack hunt — stopping for bites you'd never find on your own, with your guide translating every stall. Wind in your hair, street food in hand, and no shortage of photo ops.

At your own station in an air-conditioned kitchen, cook real Thai dishes from the ingredients you just tracked down — plus a unique Thai drink — guided step by step until the technique clicks. No experience required, just knives, heat, and someone showing you exactly how it's done. Choose your regional menu — central, north, northeastern, or southern Thailand — drink included.

Once the cooking's done, everyone sits down together — one long table, one meal, made by the group, with extra shared dishes and a Thai drink from Sabieng. It's the part of Thai food culture no restaurant menu captures: eating family-style, sharing dishes, with people you came with and people you just met.

Before you head out, pack a few extra bites for later — because the day doesn't have to end when the class does. A small kit of snacks to take with you, so Bangkok travels a little longer.
