Get ready for a one-of-a-kind dolphin experience at Aquaventuras. You'll get up close to a dolphin, share a gaze, give a hug, feel its heartbeat and even hear its sonar. Then, it's time for a deep-water group swim, where the dolphin moves around you, playing and interacting naturally. After all that fun, there's time to dive into everything the on-site waterpark has to offer, like marine life presentations, waterslides and zip-lining adventures.

  • Meeting point description: Carretera a Tepic Km 155 S/N México 200 lt 140, Bahía de Banderas, 02108 Pueblo de Acoma, 63732 Nuevo Vallarta, Nay.

  • Opening hours: 11:00 - 17:00

  • Dolphin presentation runs at 13:30. Sea lion presentation runs at 15:30

  • If you're under five months pregnant, you can take part in the dolphin encounter and meet and greet only. You must be accompanied by another paying adult and will be required to sign a waiver

  • Kids between 1.20 metres and 1.39 metres must be with an adult for dolphin interactions

  • Kids 1.40 metres and taller can join the dolphin program on their own

  • Infants aged one to five years can participate free of charge with a paying adult

  • Children are classed as six to 12 years old and adults are classed as 13 years and up

  • Please skip suncream, tanning lotions and any jewellery or accessories that might come off during the dolphin experience

  • Electronic devices aren't allowed during the dolphin program

  • Bring cash for purchasing photos and souvenirs

  • Bring a change of clothes

  • Lockers and towels are available at an additional cost

  • If you have a history of heart conditions, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, use of heart medication, or any other major medical condition, you should not participate in this experience

  • Not suitable for expectant mothers

  • Not suitable for guests who can't swim

  • Not suitable for those with reduced mobility

  • Children must be supervised by an adult (over 18 years) at all time

  • Height, weight and/or age restrictions may apply

  • Bring a towel

  • Bring money for extras or gratuities

  • Bring bathing gear and sunblock

  • Transfer is available for an extra charge

  • Some entrance fees and optional extras are payable locally
