Marvel at the Temple of Poseidon perched upon the cliff’s edge 70 meters above the sea. Walk the blessed earth of the Sounion, one of the places sung about it in Homer’s Odyssey. Stand upon the same cliff where it is said King Aegeus threw himself off. Plus, watch the sunset over this legendary horizon to complete an unforgettable experience.

Free admission days: 6 March (in memory of Melina Mercouri), 18 April (International Monuments Day), 18 May (International Museums Day), the last weekend of September annually (European Heritage Days), 28 October, every first Sunday from November 1st to March 31st
