- Head out on this guided boat tour to Rio Lagartos, a small fishing village in the Rio Lagartos Biosphere Reserve. You'll start the tour at Las Coloradas, home to pink lakes and a large sea salt harvesting industry. Then, you'll head to Rio Lagartos for a boat ride through the mangroves. This place is known for its wildlife – your guide will help you spot native birds often found hanging around here, like pink flamingos, pelicans and eagles. To wrap things up, you'll head to a traditional a Mayan bath for a soaking session – they use nutrient-rich clay as well here to help soothe and exfoliate your skin.
