Start your day with a fascinating journey to the heart of La Rioja, Spain's most famous wine region, where you'll be amazed by the breathtaking views of a sea of vineyards stretching as far as the eye can see.

Along the way, you will discover picturesque villages and the rich winemaking history of the area, with numerous wineries. The first stop will be a traditional winery, a place full of charm and character, where you'll immerse yourself in the winemaking process. And of course, you'll enjoy a tasting of their best wines, directly from the lands that make these wines a true treasure.

Then, you will visit Laguardia, a true medieval gem. This charming walled village, whose roots date back centuries, preserves one of the most impressive architectural ensembles in the entire La Rioja region. More than 300 traditional wineries, carved beneath the streets of the village, offer you a unique experience. As you walk through its narrow streets, you'll be transported back to medieval times, surrounded by ancient buildings, coats of arms, and doorways that tell stories from the past.

With an expert guide, you'll explore the most iconic corners of Laguardia and enter one of these underground wineries to learn about the winemaking process up close, while savouring the most authentic flavours of the region. You'll have free time to enjoy lunch in this charming village before returning (lunch not included).
