-What you can expect-
Travel comfortably from selected pick-up points in Funchal, Caniço and Garajau to Pico das Pedras, near Santana, where your self-guided walking adventure begins.

After your driver drops you off, make your way independently to Queimadas Forest Park, the starting point of the PR9 trail. From here, explore the scenic levada route at your own pace as you walk towards Levada do Caldeirão Verde, taking in the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Once you complete your walk, return to Pico das Pedras at the agreed time to meet your driver. Your driver will confirm the meeting point and return time before you set off, but will not accompany you on the walk. You'll then be transported back to your original pick-up location.

  • Meeting point description: This activity includes pick-up, you'll contact the tour operator with your pick-up address after booking.
