Meeting point description: Please arrive at the meeting point to exchange your voucher 20 minutes before the activity starts. Take the top-level exit from the Colosseum Metro Station (Line B). Once you reach the meeting point, cross the street and walk toward the fountain located on the other side. ℹ️Official Guidelines for a Safe and Enjoyable Visit
- Visitors are reminded that acts such as writing on walls, damaging archaeological material, lighting fires, or removing artefacts are strictly prohibited and punishable by law, with penalties including imprisonment from 2 to 5 years and fines ranging from €2,500 to €15,000.
- Guests are advised to follow all safety and conduct rules, including staying on marked walking paths, avoiding running, and refraining from leaning over railings; walking or loitering outside of designated paths is strictly forbidden.
- Areas that are closed to the public are strictly off-limits, and visitors must respect all restricted zones.
- Due to uneven and ancient terrain, visitors are encouraged to pay close attention to walking surfaces and to wear appropriate footwear, as high heels and flip-flops are not recommended.
- Families are reminded that children must be supervised at all times and should be held by the hand during the visit.
- Visitors acknowledge that accessing areas with uneven or steep steps is at their own responsibility, and the Parco archeologico del Colosseo accepts no liability for accidents in such zones.
- Clothing appropriate to the formal setting of the site is required, prohibiting ceremonial dresses, masks, period costumes and any other fancy dress undignified for such places.
