Product Info

-What you can expect-
Experience Banff after dark on a thoughtfully paced 5-hour evening journey that moves from elevated viewpoints to quiet lakeshores and ends beneath a star-filled sky at Two Jack Lake. Designed with comfort and intention, this experience blends gentle storytelling, peaceful transitions, and immersive stargazing in one of Banff National Park’s most reliable night-sky locations. As crowds fade and the park settles into the night, you’re invited to slow down and experience Banff in a calm, unhurried way.

Your evening begins at a scenic local lookout high above town, where Banff’s lights glow below, and surrounding peaks fade into silhouette. Here, your guide sets a reflective tone with stories about Banff’s history and the people who shaped this mountain town. A short drive then brings you to Lake Minnewanka as dusk deepens. Along the shoreline, you’ll hear engaging stories that connect Indigenous perspectives, wildlife behaviour, and the land’s long-standing significance.

As night fully arrives, you’ll continue deeper into the park to Two Jack Lake. At a hand-selected lakeside viewpoint, settle into premium heated chairs and enjoy complimentary tea or hot chocolate while exploring the night sky. Using telescopes, binoculars, and iPads with constellation-identification apps, you’ll observe planets, star clusters, and distant galaxies in remarkable detail.

Every element of the evening is carefully considered to create a smooth, comfortable, and meaningful experience.
