— What You Can Expect —
Day 1 : Arrival in Patna To Vaishali (50 KM/ 1 Hrs).
Arrive in Patna via Airport or Railway Station and meet your private driver. Proceed to Vaishali, one of the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage sites. Visit the Ashokan Pillar, Buddha Relic Stupa, Kutagarasala Vihara, Ananda Stupa and Abhishek Pushkarini. After sightseeing, transfer to your hotel in Vaishali for over night stay.
Day 2 : Vaishali To Rajgir ( En route Visit Nalanda) 146 KM/ 4 Hrs.
Depart for Rajgir. En route, visit the ancient ruins of Nalanda University, one of the world's oldest centers of learning. Continue to Rajgir and explore Griddhakuta Hill (Vulture Peak), Venuvana Monastery etc. Over night stay in Rajgir hotel.
Day 3 : Rajgir To Bodhgaya (Barabar Caves, Nagarjuni Caves) 150 KM/ 6 Hrs.
In Morning time, proceed for a full-day excursion to the ancient Barabar and Nagarjuni Hills. Explore the four Barabar Caves—Sudama Cave, Lomas Rishi Cave, Karan Chaupar Cave, and Visva Jhopri Cave—followed by the three Nagarjuni Caves: Gopika Cave, Vapiyaka Cave, and Vadathika Cave. Continue drive to Bodhgaya. rest of time free for leisure. Over night stay in Bodhgaya hotel.
Day 4 : Bodh Gaya Sight Seen.
Explore the sacred landmarks of Bodh Gaya, including the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Mahabodhi Temple, the revered Bodhi Tree, Vajrasana (Diamond Throne), the Great Buddha Statue and several international Buddhist monasteries. Later, visit the sacred Dungeshwari Caves (Mahakala Caves), where Prince Siddhartha is believed to have practiced severe austerities before attaining enlightenment. Spend time soaking in the spiritual atmosphere and reflecting at these revered Buddhist sites. Over night stay in Bodhgaya hotel.
Day 5 : Bodh Gaya To Kushingar (En route visit Kesariya Stupa) 340 KM/ 8 Hrs.
Depart for Kushinagar from Bodhgaya, En route, visit the magnificent Kesariya Stupa, one of the largest and most significant Buddhist stupas in the world. Continue to Kushinagar, the sacred place where Lord Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana. Over night stay in Kushinagar hotel.
Day 6 : Kushinagar To Lumbini (170 KM/ 4 Hrs).
Visit the Mahaparinirvana Temple, Reclining Buddha Statue, Ramabhar Stupa and Matha Kuar Shrine. Later, continue your journey to Lumbini in Nepal. Over night stay in Lumbini hotel.
Day 7 : Lumbini - Sarnath - Varanasi ( 280 KM/ 6 Hrs).
In early Morning time, Visit Lumbini, The birthplace of Lord Buddha, Explore the Maya Devi Temple, Ashokan Pillar, Sacred Garden and etc. After that, Drive Sarnath, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. Visit the Dhamek Stupa and Archaeological Museum. Later, proceed to Varanasi being dropped off at your preferred location like Hotel, Airport or Railway station with marking the end of this tour.
