Yuki trained at a sushi school and has been teaching local Japanese residents and international tourists since 2018. Her work has garnered attention from local media, leading to various features in newspapers, on the radio, and on television. She also learned the fundamentals of Japanese cuisine from a chef who once served meals to Emperor Showa. In 2024, during the 65th-anniversary celebration of the sister-city relationship between Sapporo and Portland, Oregon, she performed a sushi roll demonstration for both mayors and their delegations, which was very well received.
