First, arrive at the heart of the Lake District, Bowness-on-Windermere. You can take a 45-minute boat cruise on the lake (fee included) to leisurely enjoy the lake and mountain scenery, or take a free stroll around the lakeside town to experience the typical British holiday atmosphere.

Then, cross the magnificent Kirkstone Pass to enjoy the highland scenery. Upon arriving in Grasmere, you can freely explore this poetic town, visit Wordsworth's former residence, Dove Cottage (admission fee at your own expense), taste the famous local gingerbread, or take a relaxing walk by the lake. Afterward, head to the quiet and beautiful Coniston Water to enjoy the pure natural scenery of the Lake District.
