The Chiba Urban Monorail is a suspended monorail, offering a beautiful view of the city from above, and is particularly impressive as it reaches an altitude of approximately 25 meters (equivalent to a seven-story building) from Chiba Station to Chiba Park Station. Dotted along the line are museums such as the zoo, Chiba City Science Museum, and the Chiba Local Museum, making it easily accessible and a great way to spend your days off. The new 0-type carriages are equipped with a viewing window in the floor of the driver's cab, making them a rare vehicle that allows you to see directly below while the train is moving, so be sure to take a ride.
