Product Info

This is a 150-minute quarry tour and nature experience in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, where you can explore by buggy. This tour allows you to visit a vast 250,000-square-meter quarry using buggies newly introduced in February 2025. You can enjoy learning about the highlights of the quarry, the rocks being extracted, and the native plants growing there. This 'extraordinary space' that active families and couples can enjoy might be the only one of its kind in all of Japan. Legacy and Innovation - Continuity and Challenge - With the growing emphasis on SDGs and carbon neutrality, it is understandable that quarries might be perceived as environmental destroyers. However, as a company dedicated to mountain restoration, we open the mountain during our off-season because we want people to know the current situation and our initiatives. We have implemented various efforts with this in mind. Our quarry mines raw materials for ceramics, tiles, concrete materials, and landscaping stones. The role of the quarry has changed with the times. However, this land still holds stories to be told and hidden charms. Perhaps this is the only place in the country where you can feel the breath of a quarry again and experience its history. As more quarries are closing down, our challenge is to shine a new light on them. It is about continuing to move forward with respect for the past and hope for the future. We are weaving a new story for the quarry together with our buggies.
