- The Tenryu River boat trip covers approximately 6 kilometers from Riverport Benten to Riverport Tokimata, taking about 40 minutes. The meeting point is Riverport Tokimata. After registration, you will be transported by minibus to the boarding point at Riverport Benten. The boatman will guide you through the traditional Japanese boat experience (history of river transport, shipbuilding technology, and boat handling techniques). After receiving safety instructions (handling of automatic inflatable life vests and other precautions), you will board the boat after putting on your life vest. In the rapids, including the gorge of Garyukyo Prefectural Park, you will be asked to raise a plastic sheet to shield yourself from the splashing water.

- Take a traditional Japanese boat, rowed by a boatman down the rapids. In spring, the valley is adorned with flowers such as mountain cherry blossoms, rice blossoms, and azaleas, while in autumn, the vibrant autumn foliage adds color to the scenery. It's a 35-minute experience where you can truly feel nature.

- The event will be canceled if dangerous conditions are anticipated due to rising water levels or other factors.

Regarding clothing and belongings: Please bring a towel as you may get wet from splashes. There is no roof, so please bring a hat or other sun protection.
Regarding rental equipment: None in particular are required for the Tenryu River boat trip.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 2 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
- For cancellations made 0 to 0 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
NOTE
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy.
