Please confirm eSIM compatibility before purchase. Once the eSIM is issued, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
iPhones and Android phones sold in China, Hong Kong, and Macau do not support eSIM. Most Android phones sold in Taiwan are also incompatible.
The eSIM is valid for redemption within 21 days from date of issue. Please install your eSIM within the validity period.
Each Passport holder can only register up to 3 Prepaid SIM cards (regardless of service provider).
The person registering the eSIM must be at least 15 years old.
eSIM registration with passport will be subjected to thirty (30) days validity as per IMDA’s regulations.
The quality of communication may be affected by outside conditions such as surrounding landforms (i.e. mountains), location, weather, obstruction by buildings or the number of users.
How to Use
How do I set my phone to install the Traveler Data eSIM?
- For iOS (iPhone):
- Go to 【Settings/ Mobile Service (or Cellular)】.
- Under SIMs, tap to select your newly added eSIM.
- Turn on the toggle for Turn On This Line.
- Return to Mobile Service, tap Mobile Data, and select the eSIM as the active line for data.
- Turn off Allow Mobile Data Switching to ensure your iPhone does not revert to your primary SIM.
- Return to Mobile Service, under SIMs, select eSIM, scroll down and enable Data Roaming for the eSIM plan.
- For Android (device models may vary slightly):
- Go to 【Settings/ Connections/ Mobile Networks】
- Select the newly added eSIM profile.
- Enable Use SIM or Enable this SIM.
- Under Preferred SIM for mobile data, choose the eSIM.
- Disable any option that allows automatic data switching between SIMs.
- Return to 【Connections/ Mobile Network】 scroll to Data Roaming and turn it on for the eSIM.
- To use Data Roaming on your device ensure that Mobile Data & Data Roaming is enabled.
- For overseas calls, Dial 018 <country code><area code><number>
- Ensure that your APN (Access Point Name) is set to “shwap” to enable data connection. Click here for a step-by-step guide.
- To track your balance and to purchase additional data, download the Starhub App (App Store / Google Play) and login with your mobile number.

Validity Period
- Valid for use within 21day(s) from the date of issue; Invalid after expiration
Cancellation Policy
- Once the order has been completed, it cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded
- Dahil sa pagkakaiba ng time zone, ang kumpirmadong petsa ng pagkansela ay batay sa lokal na oras ng supplier. Mangyaring magbigay ng 2–5 business days para maproseso ang cancellation request, pagkatapos nito ay sisingilin ang cancellation fee ayon sa policy ng produkto. Kapag nakumpirma na ang pagkansela, matatanggap mo ang refund sa loob ng 14 working days.
