－ Itinerary Description －

・ Korean Folk Village
The Korean Folk Village was established to preserve national cultural resources, help future generations better understand Korea's inherent culture, and introduce traditional Korean culture to both domestic and international visitors. It focuses on presenting the lifestyle of the late Joseon Dynasty, showcasing various aspects such as the culture of the scholar-farmer-artisan-merchant classes, shamanistic beliefs, and seasonal customs of that era. The most distinctive feature is the complete reproduction of traditional houses, government offices, academies, and market streets of the time, helping visitors gain a deeper understanding of the lives of people during the Joseon Dynasty.

・ Hwaseong Fortress
This is a new city built during the late Joseon Dynasty. The wall surrounding Hwaseong is 5,700 meters long and is equipped with various military facilities not seen in other fortresses, with a small stream flowing through the city. It is considered the most scientific fortress wall in Korea. Although the fortress suffered damage over the years and many facilities were destroyed during the Korean War, it remains designated as Historic Site No. 3 and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

・ Hwaseong Haenggung Palace
Located within Hwaseong Fortress, it is famous for being the place where King Jeongjo stayed during his visits to the Hyeollyungwon Tomb, which is why it is also known as the 'Secondary Palace' of Gyeongbokgung. The palace offers various traditional cultural experiences, such as archery and ringing the Hyowon Bell at the top of Paldalsan Mountain, allowing visitors to gain a deeper understanding of Korea's traditional cultural heritage.

If a seat is required, a transportation fee of 30,000 KRW per person must be paid in cash on-site.
