- Haedong Yonggungsa Temple
Built on a cliff along the coast, this temple dates back to the late Goryeo Dynasty. It was destroyed during the Japanese invasions of Korea but was rebuilt in the 1930s. It is one of the three great Avalokitesvara sacred sites in Korea. It is said that by walking down the 108 steps from the entrance to the main hall, you can forget your 108 worldly desires, find peace of mind, and extend your lifespan.

- Gijang Market
This is the market where you can find the freshest seafood in the Busan area. It is especially famous for snow crab; not only the crab meat but also the crab paste fried rice is addictive. It is a market where you can feel the unchanging heart of the merchants even as times change.

- Shinsegae Centum City
Registered in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's largest shopping mall, this area includes BEXCO, often called the 'COEX' of Busan, and the Shinsegae Department Store. The world-class Shinsegae Department Store features shopping, dining, spa facilities, and an ice rink.
