Goernergrat Bahn ticket from Zermatt | Switzerland

Take the Gornergrat Bahn from Zermatt to the Gornergrat and enjoy the breathtaking view of the Matterhorn and the surrounding peaks. The cogwheel railroad takes you up to over 3100 m above sea level. On the spectacular train ride, you pass mountain lakes, gorges, over bridges, through tunnels and forests.

In addition to the Matterhorn, you will marvel at 28 other magnificent four-thousand-metre peaks and see the development of the glaciers. What's more, Zermatt is one of the most famous places in the whole of Switzerland!

• The ticket is valid once for each leg of the journey. So you can also get off at one of the intermediate stations Rotenboden, Riffelberg or Riffelalp and get back on later in the day and continue your journey.

• The "Zooom the Matterhorn" adventure world is also included in the ticket. On the Gornergrat next to the Kulmhotel, you can try out various installations such as a paragliding simulator, a 3D cinema or periscopes pointing at the Matterhorn!
