Kita-Shiga Ryuo Ski Resort is a large ski resort located at an altitude of 850-1930 meters, offering 17 runs suitable for both beginners and experienced skiers. Take the world's largest cable car to the Sky Observatory for panoramic views of the Northern Alps and the Nagano Basin. Ryuo Ski Park's signature run, the Kilori Run, is a 1400-meter-long, 30-degree slope, a natural, un-groomed snow run where you can experience the thrill of speeding across fluffy powder snow. The children's area also offers family-friendly activities such as snow tubing, inflatable boats, and snowmobiles.

- Dragon King Mountain Resort "Sora Terrace"
Located at an altitude of approximately 1,800 meters, take the world's largest aerial cable car to ascend above the sea of clouds, offering panoramic views of northern Shinshu and the Northern Alps. This area has a high probability of experiencing a sea of clouds; when it appears, you feel as if you are on the summit of the sky—a truly enchanting and dreamlike world. You can also overlook the entire Ryuo region and admire the spectacular highland scenery. - Jigokudani Monkey Park
Jigokudani Monkey Park, located at the foot of the Kitashiga Kogen mountain range, is world-renowned for its wild Japanese macaques that bathe in the local hot springs during winter. Every year, many tourists from around the world take photos with the monkeys enjoying the hot springs amidst the steam and snow. You can take a local bus from Yunanaka Station to the entrance of Jigokudani Monkey Park. It's about a 30-minute walk from the entrance to the park; please wear appropriate boots! (Admission fee is 800 yen for adults, payable separately.)
- Shibu Onsen Hardware House
Located in the famous Shibu Onsen in Nagano Prefecture, this hotel boasts nearly 300 years of history. Originally a blacksmith shop owned by the Matsushiro Domain lord, it retained its original Japanese name, "Kinguya," even after becoming a ryokan (traditional Japanese inn).
