Product Info

Shioya is a quaint town with narrow alleys and shopping streets, 15 minutes by train from Kobe Station, and from the fishing port you can see a 360-degree panorama of the Akashi Bridge, Awaji Island, and Mt. Rokko. This tour includes a tour of a nori factory (only when in operation), tastings, and tasting eight snacks and drinks while enjoying local communication with shopkeepers in the shopping street.

The guide will show you the best spots for a 360-degree view of Shioya Fishing Port, Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, Awaji Island, and Mt. Rokko.
Visit a Hyogo Prefecture nori factory, learn about the production process and sample the product. You can also purchase the product at outlet prices (the factory operates from December to the end of March. At other times, only tastings and shopping are available).

Purchase Notice

・The seaweed factory is only in operation from December to March, so outside of these periods you will not be able to see the factory in operation and will only be able to purchase and sample the seaweed.
・Conditions for participation: As this is a walking tour, participants must be in good health and those under junior high school age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 91 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • For cancellations made 1 to 90 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.

  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time.
