Breakfast is a "Kyushu Breakfast" buffet featuring regional dishes from each prefecture of Kyushu and salads made with local vegetables. Lunch is a colorful buffet with Japanese and Western dishes and special sweets made by our pastry chef. A tropical buffet is available until the end of August. In the evening, in addition to party menus, you can also enjoy a variety of à la carte dishes such as yakitori and teppanyaki. With direct access to Kokura Station and parking for 360 cars, you can enjoy a convenient stay regardless of the weather.
Yakura's proud menu items are grilled skewers and teppanyaki. The grilled skewers are made with carefully selected ingredients and are prepared by a chef, who hand-skewers each one. They are carefully grilled with a secret sauce and homemade salt koji. The specialty teppanyaki is also delicious. The domestic beef sirloin in particular is a blissful taste, with the delicious flavor and juices spilling out of your mouth when you put it in your mouth. Please come and try our proud grilled skewers and teppanyaki.
The hotel chef also offers a wide variety of lunches. The "Japanese and Western Shokado Gozen" which changes monthly and the "Hanabakago Gozen" where you can enjoy a variety of dishes little by little are popular. It is perfect for moms' and girls' get-togethers, and there is also a children's menu, so it is recommended for families. In addition, for birthdays and anniversaries, a dessert plate with a message can be prepared if you make a reservation in advance (additional charge). Enjoy a memorable moment with a gorgeous dish of hotel quality.
We have a wide selection of sake and wine so that you can choose a drink to go with your meal. Sake is perfect for seafood and grilled skewers. We have a selection of famous sake from all over Japan. Our homemade salted rice malt goes perfectly with sake. Wine goes well with teppanyaki dishes such as steak... Of course, we have selected wines that go well with Japanese food. Choose from 9 types of white, 10 types of red, 1 type of rosé, and 4 types of sparkling champagne to suit your meal and preferences.
JR Kyushu Station Hotel Kokura is located directly above Kokura Station. Yakura is on the 7th floor. With the monorail running below, it is in a great location overlooking the city of Kokura. The night view of Kokura is particularly spectacular during dinner time. The window seats are popular. There are also private rooms for 10 to 40 people. You can also enjoy skewers and teppanyaki right in front of you at the counter seats. Please feel free to use our restaurant for entertaining, anniversaries, and various other banquets.

Japanese restaurants strictly adhere to the reservation time system. If you are late, it will be considered as a voluntary cancellation of the reservation. Latecomers cannot request changes, cancellations, or refunds for this reason.
The Promotional photos are for reference only. If the actual dishes served is different than the reference, please reflect that to the restaurant, who will be responsible for this matter fully.
Dining time is limited. If you're late and therefore shorten the dining time, the dining time cannot be extended.
