Our Cretan Breakfast Experience in Ierapetra is more than just a meal. It’s a relaxed and interactive farm gathering where you’ll discover how traditional Cretan dishes are prepared using fresh, seasonal ingredients grown on our land.

Farm & Heritage Walk

After breakfast, enjoy a 20-minute guided walk through our crops and olive groves. We’ll also introduce you to our family’s collection of traditional tools and objects from the previous century, offering insight into authentic Cretan rural life and heritage.

Traditional Olive Oil Tasting

A special part of the experience is a guided olive oil tasting using extra virgin olive oil produced from the olives of our farm. You’ll learn how to recognize quality olive oil, understand its characteristics, and discover why olive oil is at the heart of the Cretan diet.

Live Cooking & Participation

You are welcome to observe — or even assist — as we prepare classic Cretan dishes such as:

Greek coffee or herbal tea from the farm
Dakos salad with local cheeses
Fresh eggs from the farm
Handmade myzithra cheese pie (myzithropita)
Seasonal olive oil–based dishes

All recipes are prepared with extra virgin olive oil and ingredients harvested from our fields whenever possible.

The meal is served on our home veranda, overlooking the olive groves and surrounding farmland. This peaceful setting allows you to relax, slow down, and connect with the authentic flavors and rural lifestyle of Crete.
