ข้อมูลสินค้า

This tasting service offers an immersion into the heart of the world of champagne through the discovery of its three iconic grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. More than just a tasting, this experience invites participants to understand how the grape variety, the terroir, the climate, and the expertise of the winemakers shape the identity of each cuvée.

The session begins with an introduction to the history of Champagne, its wine-growing landscapes, and the major milestones that have allowed this sparkling wine to become a global benchmark. In particular, participants learn about the influence of chalky soils, the exposure of the hillsides, and the northern climate on the ripeness and aromatic expression of the grapes. This introduction allows for a better understanding of the diversity of champagnes and the richness of the appellation's different terroirs.

The tasting continues with Chardonnay, a grape variety known for its finesse, freshness, and elegance. Depending on its origin and evolution, it can reveal notes of citrus, white flowers, white-fleshed fruits, chalk, or even brioche. Pinot Noir, on the other hand, brings more structure, depth, and power. It is often distinguished by aromas of red fruits, spices, and sometimes ripe fruits. Finally, Pinot Meunier offers a more supple, generous, and immediate expression, marked by fruit, roundness, and a pleasant indulgence.

Through several carefully selected champagnes, participants are invited to compare the grape varieties, identify their characteristics, and observe their role in the balance of a blend. The tasting may also highlight a Blanc de Blancs, made exclusively from Chardonnay, a Blanc de Noirs made from black grapes, as well as a blended cuvée combining several grape varieties and several terroirs.

Each wine is commented on in an accessible and lively way. Observation of the color and effervescence precedes the analysis of the aromas, texture, acidity, and length in the mouth. Historical anecdotes, explanations of the work in the vineyard, and information about the champagne-making process enrich the experience.

Friendly, educational, and sensory, this service is for both curious amateurs and avid fans. It provides everyone with the necessary know-how to taste with greater attention, better understand the origin of the sensations perceived, and appreciate the full diversity of champagnes.
