Experience one of the most scenic routes in the Canadian Rockies on a full-day small-group Icefields Parkway tour from Banff or Canmore.

With pickups limited to Banff and Canmore, the tour offers more time in the mountains and avoids long transfers from Calgary. Relax in a comfortable tour vehicle while your driver-guide manages the mountain roads, parking, timing, and scenic stops.

After pickup from your selected meeting point, travel toward Lake Louise and join the famous Icefields Parkway. Along the way, enjoy views of glacier-fed lakes, forests, rivers, mountain valleys, rugged peaks, and glaciers.

Your first main stop is Bow Lake, one of the most beautiful glacier-fed lakes in Banff National Park. Take photos, enjoy a short walk near the shoreline, and admire the surrounding mountain scenery.

Continue to Peyto Lake, one of the most famous viewpoints in the Canadian Rockies. Walk to the viewing area and enjoy panoramic views of the lake’s bright blue water and the mountain valley below.

The journey then continues toward the Columbia Icefield, where the landscape becomes colder, higher, and more dramatic.

At the Columbia Icefield activity area, enjoy time for lunch, glacier views, photographs, and optional paid activities. Guests may visit the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre when open and view the Athabasca Glacier from the public areas.

Guests who want to experience the Columbia Icefield Adventure, Ice Explorer, or Skywalk may purchase tickets separately. These tickets are not included in the standard tour unless the selected booking option clearly states otherwise.

Guests who do not purchase activity tickets can still enjoy the Discovery Centre area, glacier views, lunch, photographs, and free time.
