Saariselkä: Ice Fishing Safari by Snowmobile｜Finland

Combine two lovely experiences on a snowmobile tour. Travel through enchanting snow-covered forests and open fells, enjoying the stunning natural scenery towards a wilderness lake. When you reach the lake, your guide will show you techniques to drill a hole in the ice and how to attract fish.

Ice fishing is a popular winter activity among the Finns. It provides a more peaceful and solitary experience and is a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Your guide will prepare a picnic lunch on a campfire. If you are lucky, you can prepare your catch on the fire.

You could choose to ride on a snowmobile on your own, or take a comfortable sleigh ride pulled by our guides' snowmobile.

Meet at the Lapponia Tours safari house and get all the winter gear before hopping on a snowmobile.
