Embark on an exciting winter adventure through Lapland and see one of nature’s most amazing spectacles—the Northern Lights. Enjoy a magical evening surrounded by snowy landscapes, a warm campfire, hot drinks, and delicious food.

About 1.5 hours before the tour, your guide checks five locations and selects the two best spots for viewing the Northern Lights. The route may vary depending on weather and visibility.

Our first stop is a snow-covered lake. You will have the chance to step onto the ice, enjoy the authentic winter atmosphere of Lapland, and enjoy the tranquility. Along the way, you may even spot local wildlife, such as reindeer and hares.

Next, we head to a cozy barbecue area—also located by a frozen lake—where you can warm up by the fire and relax. Your guide will prepare a hot meal over the open flames while you enjoy the evening and watch the sky for the Northern Lights.

✨ The Northern Lights

The Northern Lights are a mesmerizing phenomenon that cannot be predicted or guaranteed. They depend on solar activity, the Earth’s magnetic field, cloud cover, and other factors. Sometimes the display lasts only minutes, while at other times, it can last much longer.

Even if nature decides not to reveal the Northern Lights this evening, or if they aren’t as vivid as we had hoped, we will do our utmost to ensure you have a wonderful and unforgettable evening in Lapland. This adventure is more than a chance to see the Northern Lights; it is an opportunity to enjoy Arctic nature, snow-covered landscapes, the warmth of a campfire, delicious food, and the unique atmosphere of Lapland.

Dining Options

We offer two dining options during the tour:

Meat option - grilled chicken and pork sausages.
Vegetarian option - grilled mushroom and vegetable sausages.

The menu also includes rice pastries, cookies, and marshmallows. You can roast the marshmallows over the fire.

Throughout the evening, you can warm up with hot drinks made from berries picked by your guide in the Lapland forests during summer. As an optional extra, you can order Finnish salmon cooked over an open fire—a chance to taste a traditional Northern delicacy.

Upon request, we can also visit Santa Claus Village. You can stroll through the village, enjoy the magical atmosphere, and take beautiful photos without large tourist crowds or long lines.

Even if the Aurora isn’t particularly bright that evening, we will do our utmost to make your experience wonderful, comfortable, and unforgettable.
