A: A full-day tour from Rovaniemi visiting Riisitunturi National Park, Ruka Mountain Coaster and Vikaköngäs Arctic Rapids. Includes transport, pickup/drop-off, guide, 1 coaster ride, BBQ, hot drinks and seasonal safety equipment.

Q: What are Riisitunturi Snow Monsters?
A: Trees naturally covered with heavy snow and frost. They are seasonal, so their appearance cannot be guaranteed.

Q: How difficult is the Riisitunturi hike?
A: The hike is easy to moderate, with snowy and sometimes uneven terrain. Reasonable fitness and suitable winter footwear are recommended. It is also an exceptionally beautiful hike through Riisitunturi’s famous Snow Monster landscapes and one of Finland’s most photogenic and Instagrammable winter destinations.

Q: Is the Ruka Coaster included?
A: Yes. One ride is included. The coaster is about 767 m long and reaches speeds up to 40 km/h.

Q: Are there coaster restrictions?
A: Maximum weight is 150 kg per sled. Children aged 3–7 and riders under 135 cm must be accompanied by an adult.

Q: What is Vikaköngäs?
A: Vikaköngäs is known for its Arctic rapids, scenic bridge and beautiful riverside views—a picture-perfect place to enjoy the contrast of snow and fast-flowing water.

Q: What should I wear?
A: Wear warm winter layers and suitable footwear. Ice spikes are provided when required.

Q: Is there a queue for ticket or the ride?
A: Your ticket is pre-arranged, but waiting for the ride may still be necessary.

Q: Can the itinerary change because of weather?
A: Yes. If weather, road or safety conditions require it, the order and duration of stops may be adjusted to provide the safest and best possible experience.

Q: What if the coaster is closed?
A: If it closes due to weather, maintenance or safety reasons, €50 per person will be refunded.
