Private Valparaíso & Viña del Mar Experience
Discover the Chilean coast on a private full-day experience from Santiago, accompanied by your guide throughout the entire journey. This tour combines Valparaíso’s artistic heritage, Viña del Mar’s cultural landmarks, coastal views, and the flexibility to personalize the experience according to your interests.
Your day begins with a private pick-up at your hotel in Santiago and continues towards Valparaíso, where the experience focuses on the city’s hills, architecture, and artistic character.
Valparaíso: Art, History & Coastal Views
Explore Cerro Concepción and Cerro Alegre, two of the city’s most iconic neighborhoods and the heart of Valparaíso’s artistic identity. Walk through colorful streets, discover its distinctive architecture and street art, and hear the stories behind the houses built along the hills and how the city developed around its port.
From Paseo Yugoslavo, enjoy one of the city’s characteristic panoramic views over Valparaíso and its bay. You will also experience Ascensor El Peral, one of Valparaíso’s historic funiculars, connecting the hills with the lower part of the city.
Choose Your Coastal Experience
Because this is a private experience, you can choose between two included water activities:
Kayaking at Muelle Barón
Enjoy approximately 30 minutes of kayaking in the bay, with views towards Valparaíso’s coastline and port.
Boat navigation from Muelle Prat
Alternatively, enjoy a 30-minute boat ride from Muelle Prat, offering a different perspective of Valparaíso, its bay, and its historic port.
Viña del Mar: Culture & Coastal Life
Continue to Viña del Mar, where you will visit Quinta Vergara, one of the city's most important cultural landmarks.
Inside the grounds, you will visit the Museo Palacio Vergara, included in the experience, and then continue to the Quinta Vergara amphitheater, where the internationally known Viña del Mar International Song Festival takes place.
After the cultural visit, enjoy lunch at one of the selected restaurants with views of the Pacific Ocean. Restaurant options can vary depending on your preferences and availability. Lunch is not included in the tour price.
Make the Experience Your Own
One of the advantages of traveling privately is the possibility to adapt the itinerary to your interests.
For travelers interested in nature and wildlife, the experience can be customized to include a visit to Oceanic Rock in Reñaca, an area known for its coastal environment and opportunities for birdwatching, including the possibility of spotting Inca terns.
Whether your interests are history, art, architecture, coastal landscapes, water activities, culture, or wildlife, your private experience can be adjusted to make the most of your day.
