Atacama: Stargazing tour Into Our Universe｜Chile

I'll pick you up at your hotel in a 4x4 and we'll drive into the Salty Mountain Range, leaving the lights of San Pedro behind. The road slowly disappears into a Martian landscape, and the sky above begins to darken. By the time we reach Vallecito the Atacama Dark Sky reveals what it's been hiding all along.

We recline, and the night does the rest. There's a particular silence out there — not empty, but full. Full of questions and the kind of conversations that mirror what we already are: I'll guide you through the southern sky sharing with you some of the stories of people who shaped the way we understand the universe, and point out with the help of my laser, the invisible to the untrained eye.

After the talk, I'll set up a small stargazing station with everything needed: wine, hot drinks, snacks, and of course: A Smart Telescope which points itself at planets, nebulas, and galaxies capturing them in color so that you can actually see in color what you were only glimpsing before — and take those images home with you as a memory of what lies deeper in Space.

We close the experience with a short night walk through this alien landscape, where we take photos with the galactic plane as your backdrop — facing the galactic center from April to September, and toward the outer edge of the Milky Way from October to March.

Then I drive you back to San Pedro, with whatever the shuffled music decided to play for us that night.
