Serac Trekking on the Osorno Volcano Glacier｜Chile

Leaving early from your accommodation in Puerto Varas, we head directly to the foothills of the imposing Osorno Volcano, which rises to 2,652 meters above sea level.
We will arrive at the CONAF office to register our route, get ready, and begin our ascent from 1,200 meters above sea level.
We will walk for at least 3 hours until we reach 1,900 meters above sea level, the point where we will fully equip ourselves with our technical mountain gear and have an informative technical talk to start our trek to the Glacier Seracs.
Upon reaching our destination, we'll be able to rest, observe these imposing blocks of ice and crevasses, listen to the underground creaks, and possibly see ice calving. We'll have time to take photos and eat our box lunch.
After enjoying this beautiful panoramic glacier landscape, we will return along the same route as the trek until we reach the point where we can remove our equipment.
We will begin our descent until we reach the starting point and take the transportation that will take us back to the city of Puerto Varas.
