Amsterdam: Private Zaanse Schans & Giethoorn Tour｜Netherlands

Leave Amsterdam for a quieter Dutch countryside day shaped around windmills, waterways, and village life. Your private tour starts with pickup from your accommodation within Amsterdam at the agreed morning time, with the standard departure listed as 9:00 AM. Travel first toward Zaanse Schans, the open-air windmill village where wooden houses, historic mills, cheese culture, and clog-making traditions show a classic side of the Netherlands.

In the morning, spend time at Zaanse Schans for a guided sightseeing visit and photo stops around the windmills and traditional village lanes. Entry to the village area is free, and parking, fuel, and driver-related operating costs are included in the booked option. Around midday, continue to Giethoorn, known for its canals, small bridges, and waterside homes. The Giethoorn boat fee is included, so you can experience the village from the water instead of only viewing it from the paths.

In the afternoon, enjoy the canal atmosphere in Giethoorn, with time for photos and personal purchases if you wish. Meals and drinks for travelers are not included, so you can choose food locally according to your preference. The service is private for your group, and English or Chinese guide service is available according to the booked arrangement. After the countryside visit, return to Amsterdam for drop-off within the pickup area. If weather, operating conditions, or attraction status remove a core stop or component from the booked trip and you do not accept the change, you receive a full refund.
