Private Giethoorn & Blokzijl Day Tour from Amsterdam｜Netherlands

I invite you to join me on a private day tour from Amsterdam to Giethoorn, the village where the streets are canals. This tour is for your group only — no strangers, no fixed schedule, no rushing.
The day starts with pickup from your Amsterdam hotel, accommodation, or Schiphol Airport. We drive through open Dutch polder landscape — with photo stops whenever you like — to Giethoorn, often called the "Venice of the North." There we take a canal cruise past thatched farmhouses and gardens, then walk the village paths, cross the wooden bridges, and stop for coffee or lunch at a waterside café.
From Giethoorn it's only a ten-minute drive to Blokzijl, once a thriving harbor town on the Zuiderzee. Its 17th-century center — the old lock, the sheltered harbor basin, the merchant houses — is beautifully preserved, and you'll mostly share the streets with locals. It's the kind of place most visitors to Holland never hear about, and one of my favorite stops to show.
