### Red Light District Tour with Sandro – Discover Amsterdam personally
Hi, I'm Sandro – local guide and Amsterdam lover.
I want to show you Amsterdam the way I experience it myself: personally, in a relaxed way, and with exciting stories that you won't easily find in every guidebook.
On my approximately two-hour tour, you'll get an authentic insight into Amsterdam's famous Red Light District – its history, its development, and life around De Wallen. It's not just about red windows and coffee shops, but also about the people, the city's history, and the special features of this unique neighborhood.
We'll start near the main train station and set off together. Along the way, we'll cross Chinatown, discover a historic market square, and learn more about the former city walls and the origins of Amsterdam.
Of course, a visit to a coffee shop is a must. There you will get an insight into Dutch coffee shop culture and the background – of course, you don't have to buy anything.
Afterwards, we explore various areas of the Red Light District, pass by the famous Oude Kerk, and discover the many facets of De Wallen together. You can ask me anything you want to know.
How does a visit to a sex worker work? What do the different colors of the shop windows mean? How safe is the district? How has the Red Light District changed over time? And what distinguishes Amsterdam, for example, from the Red Light District in Hamburg?
I will share with you my local knowledge, current information, and of course my personal tips on live shows, entertainment bars, pubs, and other interesting places in the area.
The tour takes place in a relaxed and respectful atmosphere. We go at a leisurely pace, take time for your questions, and are happy to make the tour an experience that suits your group.
Whether it's a bachelor party, a student or graduation trip, a club or company outing – or simply an evening together with friends or family: you are very welcome!
I look forward to showing you my Amsterdam and discovering the somewhat more unusual side of the city together.
