Just 35 km from Interlaken, deep in the heart of the Jungfrau region, lies the untouched and awe-inspiring Rosenlaui Valley. This e-bike adventure takes you through dramatic mountain scenery, past waterfalls, glaciers, and historic landmarks — offering some of the most impressive views in the region.

Our journey begins at the famous Reichenbach Falls (969 m), known for their thundering cascades and connection to Sherlock Holmes. From here, we ride towards Grosse Scheidegg, following a scenic alpine road through meadows, forests, and mountain streams. Towering above us rises the striking Wellhorn (3191 m), one of the most iconic peaks in the area.

After a pleasant climb, we reach a traditional Swiss farm near the historic Rosenlaui Hotel (1330 m), a beautifully preserved alpine lodge dating back to 1862. Here we take a well-deserved break and taste authentic Swiss cheese and other homemade specialties — a perfect way to experience local Alpine culture.

Just above the hotel lies the spectacular Rosenlaui Glacier Gorge (Gletscherschlucht Rosenlaui), a natural wonder carved over thousands of years by the power of glacial waters. A short, well-secured walk leads us through roaring waterfalls, swirling pools, and fascinating rock formations — a truly awe-inspiring sight that highlights the raw force of nature.

Back on our e-bikes, we continue to Säge Schwarzwaldalp (1449 m), a beautifully restored alpine sawmill showcasing traditional Swiss craftsmanship. From here, the route ascends towards Grosse Scheidegg, offering increasingly stunning panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.

At the top, we take time to relax and admire the breathtaking views of Grindelwald Valley and the legendary mountains Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau (4158 m). You can enjoy lunch at a cozy mountain restaurant or bring your own and picnic surrounded by the silence and grandeur of the Alps. Whether you prefer to meditate, take photos, or simply breathe in the fresh mountain air, this moment captures the essence of the Swiss outdoor spirit.

After the break, we begin our gentle descent back down the valley. The return ride offers new perspectives of the landscape, with hidden waterfalls, wildflowers, and alpine wildlife appearing along the way.

If time allows, we finish with a short stop at the Reichenbach Falls viewpoint, where you can see the legendary waters plunge dramatically into the valley below.
