Leave Reykjavík behind for a full-day buggy journey that combines Iceland’s Golden Circle with the freedom of an off-road ride. Travel between the sights in a road-legal 4x4 buggy, following gravel roads, mountain tracks, and quieter back-country routes.

Start with hotel pickup in Reykjavík and travel to Buggy Iceland’s base at Lambhagavegur 13. After a safety briefing, put on the provided insulated overall, balaclava, and helmet, then learn how to operate the fully automatic buggy.

Set out through Hafravatn, Skammidalur, and Mosfellsdalur before climbing toward the open highlands. Arrive at Þingvellir National Park, where Iceland’s first parliament was founded in 930 and the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet.

Continue across more rugged terrain toward Gullfoss. Watch the Hvítá river plunge into its dramatic canyon, then ride on to the Geysir geothermal area. See steaming springs and wait for Strokkur, which erupts every few minutes.

Return to Reykjavík by a scenic highland route, with wide views and varied riding throughout the day. The tour lasts approximately 10 hours and departs at 9:00 AM.

Drivers need a valid driver’s license, and the minimum participant age is 12. At least four participants are required for the tour to operate.

Hotel pickup and drop-off in Reykjavík are included in this KKday option. The exact pickup time will be confirmed the day before the tour.
